Programs
Nature's Edge classes, taught by Molly Scott*, will occur once a month on Thursday evenings. The theme for the May 20th class is "Birds and Bees, the True Story".
Schedule: Thursday, May 20th | 5:30 - 7:00pm
Location: Class will meet on the Outdoor Patio of the Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St), then may walk to surrounding areas.
Fee: $20/person
*Molly Scott (aka "Ms. Molly") is a nature educator, and Urban Zen Integrative Therapist (Level 1 certified). Her passion is connecting current generations with nature, as we are nature itself.
Note:
To Bring/Wear:
- comfortable shoes and clothing for walking (and appropriate for the weather!)
- a face mask
- an adult beverage of your choice (HNA will provide a cooler to keep drinks cold until after the walk is done)
Weather note:
Nature's Edge classes are all about embracing the natural world - so a little rain won't stop us! However, in the event of significant inclement weather, class may be canceled. (weather decisions will be made on the afternoon of the program)
Some important Covid-related notes:
- Attendees must wear a mask throughout the duration of the program (except while actively eating or drinking).
- The number of participants will be limited and attendees are asked to maintain social distancing throughout the program.
- Lastly, if you are showing any symptoms of sickness, please stay home.
