Adult - Chair Yoga (outdoors)

Come join Jane Rabe* in the refreshing outdoors and move through a variety of gentle yoga poses, all based out of a chair! These seated and standing poses use the support of a chair to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. This class also includes breathing practices to encourage relaxation and mindfulness. Chair Yoga is a gentle class and suitable for adults of any age or fitness level.

Some important notes:
- We will provide a chair (which will be disinfected shortly before class), but attendees must bring their own yoga mats and any other props they would like to use (we will not be providing shared props). Some props that can be very helpful are a yoga block and/or yoga strap, however no props are required to enjoy this class.
- Please wear a mask/face covering while entering and exiting the patio. Once you’ve settled into your chair for the class, masks may be removed.
- If participants are unable to place their own yoga mat on the ground and/or physically move a chair onto their mat - our instructor will be available to assist you.
- Participants will be spread out to ensure safe social distancing.
- If you are showing any symptoms of sickness, please stay home.

*Jane Rabe has been practicing and studying yoga for over 20 years. In 2015 she decided to make it official and received her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (200RYT) training from Yoga On High. Since then she has also received her 200 meditation teacher training and is a Reiki level 2 provider and a certified breath coach. Jane believes yoga is for everyone and extends way beyond just the physical.

Schedule: Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am, June 8th - June 29th (4 week in-person series)

Location: outdoors on the side patio at Phil Heit Center (150 W Main St, 43054)
*If inclement weather class will be held indoors at HNA.

Fee: $64/participant (for 4 week in-person series)

To Wear/Bring With You:
- a yoga mat
- any other props you would like (ex: yoga block, yoga strap, etc)
- a water bottle
- clothing that is comfortable for movement.

Some important notes about COVID-precautions/safe social distancing:
-The number of participants will be limited to ensure safe social distancing.
-Individual spaces will be preset at 8-ft distances from each other.
- Attendees must wear a mask upon arrival and departure. Once you've settled into your spot, then you may remove your mask.
- Lastly, if you are showing any symptoms of sickness, please stay home.
