Heritage Cuisine - From a Somali Kitchen ("Nourish the Pantry" class)

Join instructors Eileen Pewitt* and guests for a hands-on Heritage Cuisine class. Together they'll teach you to make a few favorite recipes from Somalia!

When: Thursday May 20th, 6:30-8:30pm

Where: The Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany)

Fee: $40/person

*Eileen Pewitt was trained at Columbus Culinary Institute and has taught cooking classes for years at Healthy New Albany. She serves as the Cooking Education Coordinator at the New Albany Food Pantry and is passionate about eliminating food insecurity and connecting pantry clients to recipes and resources.

Important notes about COVID-precautions:
- The number of participants will be limited and spread out to maintain 6-ft social distancing.
- Attendees must wear a face mask throughout the duration of the program.
-The Philip Heit Center is equipped with an HVAC system that meets the strict complaints standards for air flow and filtration required by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
- Lastly, if you are showing any symptoms of sickness, please stay home.
