Adult - Meditation in the Park (July + August)

This 6-week class is perfect for individuals interested in learning more, or simply getting back to the basics of meditation. “Meditation in the Park" will guide you through the foundations of meditation practice and allow you to gain a better understanding of the benefits meditation can have on the mind, body, and overall well being. Meditation can calm your mind, reduce levels of stress and anxiety, and maximize your ability to focus.

Allow our experienced instructor, Sharon Thomas*, to show you how to meditate, and as well as how to incorporate meditation into your daily routine.

*Sharon Thomas is a teacher-student of non-Western practices that foster a healthy and aware life. She is a compassionate teacher focused on leading programs that guide people to live more mindfully and believes that these practices invite her students to embody a sense of calm and relaxation with a renewed focus on living in the present. She is a RYT 500 yoga teacher, Urban Zen Integrative Therapist, Reiki Master, and Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor.
