Nourish Class - That's My Jam!

Demystify hot water bath canning and take home two 6-ounce jars of homemade fruit jam. Guest instructor, Amy Grandinetti, will join Healthy New Albany instructor, Sharon Dunn*, in teaching the techniques for canning.

Schedule: Sunday, August 29th, 2:00 - 4:00pm

Location: The Philip Heit Center - Outdoor Patio (150 W. Main St, New Albany)

Fee: $55/person

*Sharon earned her Baking and Pastry degree at Columbus State and has worked for the Cameron Mitchell Restaurant Group for the last six years as a baker, prep cook, and line cook. Sharon and her family are New Albany residents and she has been involved in the Healthy New Albany community through the Farmers Market and now with Nourish!, the community cooking education program.

Note:

COVID Policy:
- Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks within Healthy New Albany spaces (indoors or outdoors)
- All participants will be required to wear a mask while entering or exiting the shared lobby space or using other common areas (such as bathrooms) of the Philip Heit Center, because those spaces are shared with OSU Wexner Medical Center which, as a healthcare facility, has different COVID guidelines.
- The number of participants will be limited
- If you are showing any symptoms of sickness, please stay home.
