Seasonal Hikes - Autumn Equinox Hike

Our Seasonal Hikes are offered to celebrate the amazing transitions from season to season. We will explore our local world, looking at nature and history relating to the season. As we look deeper into the transitions of seasons we will hike (generally 3-5 miles) locally, observe and explore nature through history and legends.

Fall is a feast for the senses. The smells, flavors, the air, the sounds and sights are adored by many and for good reason. Join Molly Scott* for this unique opportunity to move, grow and learn about the wisdom of this season. Our hike will begin and end at the Heit Center Patio. The hike will be local and mostly flat (not all paved or trails) and will be approximately 4 miles.

As we hike we will reflect on the end of summer and the entrance of the autumn season and all it has to offer, both in history and tales from the past. The purpose of this hike is to connect and inspire our lives through our natural world, as well as, find community with the place we live and the people we share it with. After our hike, a well earned time to rest and seasonal refreshments will be offered.

Schedule: Tuesday September 21 @ 12:00pm

Location: Starts at the Philip Heit Center - Outdoor Patio (and hikes to surrounding areas)

Fee: $20/person
