Program Description:
Come move through a variety of gentle yoga poses using a chair outdoors on the patio! Seated and standing poses will use the support of a chair to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. This class also includes breathing practices to encourage relaxation and mindfulness. Chair Yoga is a gentle class and suitable for adults of any age or fitness level.
Schedule:
• Tuesdays | 10:00 - 11:00am
• August 5 - August 27 (4-week series)
Fee:
• $64 for 4-week series
Location:
• Outdoor Patio at the Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• The patio is on the side of the building near Johnson's Ice Cream
*About the Instructor:
Lori Bower, M.Ed, E-RYT 500, is the Director of Integrative Wellness at Healthy New Albany, and is a Nationally and Internationally recognized facilitator in the fields of yoga, meditation, and Reiki. She is the Founder and Director of CARE: Compassionate Addiction Recovery Experience, a holistic healing program combining proven techniques for addiction recovery.

Note:
To Wear/Bring With You:
• Wear clothing that is comfortable for movement and appropriate for the outdoor weather forecast
• Bring a yoga mat and any other props you would like (ex: yoga block, yoga strap, etc)
• Recommended: Bring a water bottle
Weather Note:
• Classes will be held on the Outdoor Patio next to the Philip Heit Center
• Thanks to the City of New Albany for providing a tent over the patio to give us shade during the summer!
• In case of significant inclement weather, class will be moved inside the Philip Heit Center.
