Forest Therapy Walk

**Update as of 4/17/24:**
This program has been postponed and will not take place on the originally scheduled July 21st date.

---------------------------------------

Program Description:
There is an increased understanding of the importance of Forest Therapy around the world. Forest Therapy can help us to feel alive, fall in love, and take good care of our planet in such a way that it benefits all beings, that is just the start. There is a lot happening in our lives today and each of us has challenges, needs, and hurt. Forest therapy offers a holistic and reciprocal approach to wellness. Participating in a forest therapy walk (full 3 hours) is unlike other nature walks, it is a powerful practice and will offer support for connection of self through the connection to land. Molly Scott, our trained ANFT Forest Therapy Guide, will lead the walk in partnership with the forest. We will introduce new language, offer invitations for connection, and guide you through the walk. Every experience is unique, with the possibility of growth and healing, not only for yourself, but also for the land.
The actual walk is less than ½ mile, we will move slowly getting to know the woods. This relationship is foundational. The forest is the therapist, the guide opens the doors. Join us for this meaningful journey as a gift to yourself.
