Program Description:
Calling all school-aged children - join us for a fun-filled gingerbread decorating activity. We’ll supply a wide array of candy decorations; you bring the creativity as you design your very own gingerbread masterpiece. Then you can proudly take your creation home to display throughout the holiday season. All supplies are provided as part of registration.
Children ages 5 - 9 should be accompanied by an adult to assist with hands-on decorating.
Children 10+ can either be dropped off or accompanied by an adult.
When:
• Friday December 6 | 4:15 - 5:45 pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Demo Kitchen on the first floor
Registration Info:
• $30/initial child
• $15/additional child
• ages 5 - 18
About the Instructor:
Sharon Dunn, HNA Nourish Program Coordinator, earned her Baking and Pastry degree at Columbus State and worked for the Cameron Mitchell Restaurant Group for eight years as a baker, prep cook, and line cook. Sharon and her family are New Albany residents and she has been involved in the Healthy New Albany community through the Farmers Market and now with Nourish, the community cooking education program.
