Tiny Tai Chi

Program Description:

Through gentle, playful movement, this class introduces the basic principles of Tai Chi to toddlers (ages 18 months - 4 years) and their caregivers. Balance, coordination, mindfulness, and breath control, are fundamentals of Tai Chi that will presented to the class in a fun and interactive way. Parents and children will move together in a supportive, non-competitive environment, fostering bonding while helping young children develop motor skills and emotional regulation.

Class Goals:

Physical Development: Improve balance, coordination, and flexibility
Mindfulness: Encourage focus and calmness
Parent-Child Bonding: Strengthen connection through shared movement
Social Interaction: Build community with other families

Registration Info:
• Attend any or all of our fall sessions! You select the dates that work for you.
• Each class is $22 for the child and parent participating.
• Register each child who will be participating. (There's no need to register infants who aren't participating, but may need to come along with a parent.)

About the Instructor:
Christopher Jansen has been teaching Tai Chi, dance, and other movement modalities for 25 years. Having started teaching High Impact Aerobics and Step at sixteen years old, Christopher has branched out to not only offer Tai Chi, but also Yoga, various dance styles, and water fitness classes. He owned a dance studio in downtown Milwaukee, WI, and although dance has been Christopher's lifelong passion, he realizes the importance of the more gentle and subtle movement modalities, such as Yoga and Tai Chi. Christopher is also a certified personal trainer, transformation specialist, and cancer exercise specialist.
