Programs
Program Description:
In the old days, people knew how to walk into the woods and gather materials to make fire without any tools other than a knife or sharp stone edge. In this class we will focus on the basics of fire by friction which involves rubbing two pieces of wood together fast enough to make a coal that we can blow into flame. We will provide you with a bow drill kit, a knife and help you work on your form to learn the basics.
Schedule:
• Sunday, February 23, 2025 | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Fee:
• $35
Location:
• Rocky Fork Metro Park Pavilion
