Program Description:
"Using Technology to Promote Healthy Lifestyle Choices"
Do you currently use an app to help you reach your health goals? Have you considered it, but never actually tried it? This session will go over the various apps that are out there to help you reach your health goals. This presentation not only covers nutrition and fitness apps, but will also discuss the variability of other apps to approach a holistic aspect of a healthy lifestyle.
When:
• Monday, January 27 | 6:00 - 7:00pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Meeting Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building
Fee:
• Free to attend, but please register online since space is limited.

*About the Instructor:
Heather McCormick, MS, RDN, LD, CDCES: Nutrition Specialist, Employer Relationship Program at Mount Carmel Health System
Heather holds a B.S. in nutrition from Illinois State University and was a 4-year member of the women’s swimming and diving team. She earned her M.S. in nutrition from Bowling Green State University. She is currently a registered dietitian with Mount Carmel Health System. She works one-on-one with patients in the cardiac rehab program, and in Mount Carmel’s Employer Relations department, providing food demonstrations, biometric screenings, and educational programs to companies in the greater Columbus area. She currently resides in Worthington, OH with her husband and two children and continues to swim competitively.
