Program Description:
The goal of this class is to provide education and tools to help individuals understand and care for their heart health. Have you ever wondered what the heart does? How it works or how it stays strong? Do you ever think about what you can do to keep it beating regularly and prevent heart related complications? Then this class is for you!
When:
• Monday, February 24 | 6:00 - 7:00pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Meeting Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building
Fee:
• Free to attend, but please register online since space is limited.

*About the Instructor:
Nichole McWhorter, RN, BSN, CWHC at Mount Carmel Health
Nichole McWhorter earned her BS in nursing from Case Western Reserve University, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. The first half of her career she worked as a Cardiothoracic ICU RN & Critical Care Clinical Educator. She transitioned to a wellness focus, working first for the MCHS Church Partnerships team & currently works with the Workplace Health Wellness team. As a wellness nurse, she provides health education programs, biometrics screenings, flu clinics & handles the event logistics for her team. Nichole is also a Certified Health & Wellness Coach. She resides with her husband & twins in Westerville where she can often be found running on the park paths. Nichole also loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
