Welcome to the Healthy New Albany Community Garden at Taylor Farm Park! This space was uniquely designed by the City of New Albany for a community garden, in which the public can rent 1, 2, or 3, garden plots for the 2025 gardening season. The new community garden offers 9 of the 86 plots as raised garden plots to help make gardening accessible to everyone.

What does it mean to be on the garden waiting list?
- You will need to register for the waiting list by completing the registration information.
- If and when a plot(s) become available, you will be emailed.
- This is a first come first serve for the waiting list.
- Please read the information below to know what you will receive when you rent a plot with Healthy New Albany

When you rent a plot with Healthy New Albany you will be receiving:
-well designed garden plot(s) to grow plants for your use
-easy water access to water plot(s)
-free dirt
-access to a locked shed with a sink and water to rinse tools and produce
-first choice for garden plots for the next gardening season
-bi-weekly emails to update you on anything happening in the garden
-monthly garden member gatherings (May- Sept) at the garden space in order for gardeners to meet one another
-assistance with watering of plot(s) by volunteers

Gardener requirements:
-4 hours of volunteering at the garden space over the course of the 2025 gardening season
-maintaining your rented plot(s) for the entire gardening season
-reading and signing the Healthy New Albany Community Garden Rules and Regulations
-watching an Orientation video

Plot Pricing for the 2025 Gardening Season:
1 4'x4' ground or raised plot is $50
2 4'x4' ground or raised plots are $70
3 4'x4' ground or raised plots are $90
