Guided Off-Trail Hike

Program Description:
Awaken your senses and deepen your connection with nature on this guided off-trail hike through the beautiful Hundred Acre Wood at Blendon Ravines Metro Park. We'll venture deep into the forest to explore animal tracks and signs, enjoy some peaceful birdwatching, and even keep our eyes out for a bald eagle nest that may be visible along the way.

This is a rare chance to slow down and experience the woods in a more intimate way — observing wildlife, reading the quiet clues of nature, and discovering the stories hidden in the landscape. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes for uneven terrain and bring binoculars to enhance your view of the forest canopy and its winged residents.

Recommended for ages 12 and up; children must be accompanied by an adult.
