Program Description:
What’s Next? Finding Clarity and Confidence in Career Transition
Whether you’re between jobs, returning to the workforce, or simply rethinking your next step, transition can feel uncertain. Though, it’s also a powerful time to grow! This workshop helps participants use “in-between” seasons to build clarity, confidence, and momentum. Drawing from her experience in leadership, HR, and workforce development, Liz shares actionable strategies for identifying transferable skills, using volunteering and community involvement to open new doors, and managing the stress that comes with change. Participants will leave with renewed direction and practical tools to move forward with confidence.
When:
• Friday, January 23 | 6:00 - 7:00pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Conference Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building
Fee:
$25
About the Instructors:
Liz Kazemi (Founder of The People Advisor LLC) lives by the quote, “Turn obstacles into opportunities.” From the beginning, Liz knew she wanted to work with, help, empower, and uplift people and organizations to reach their full potential. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, she saw first-hand that when individuals feel valued and when we develop both people and organizations by equipping them with the tools, approaches, and knowledge to succeed, obstacles become opportunities, goals become realities, and experiences become knowledge. With a rich background in building organizations, human resource management, people/organizational development, and leadership within organizations, boards, educational institutions, and more, Liz is your go-to HR and Career Strategist.
