CHT - Community Is Stronger Than Cancer

Program Description:

Community Is Stronger Than Cancer: Practical Support for Patients, Survivors, and Care

A cancer diagnosis impacts more than the body, it affects emotions, relationships, routines, and the day-to-day life of the whole family. In this session, Cancer Support Community Central Ohio will walk attendees through the no-cost, non-medical support available locally for any diagnosis and any stage, including options for support groups, individual counseling, educational programs, and wellness-focused offerings designed to strengthen quality of life. Participants will also learn what to expect from CSC’s Newcomer Welcome, a one-time orientation that introduces services and helps people build an Individual Wellness Plan so they can choose the right supports for their situation.
