Program Description:
Heart Health Is Women’s Health
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, yet symptoms and risk factors can look different than they do in men, and too often they’re missed or dismissed. This session breaks down what every woman should know about heart health across the lifespan, from blood pressure and cholesterol to stress, sleep, hormones, and pregnancy-related risk factors. You’ll learn the most common (and not-so-common) warning signs of a heart event, what to ask your provider at routine visits, and simple, realistic habits that protect your heart starting today.
When:
• Monday, August 24, 2026 | 6:00 - 7:00pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Conference Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building
Fee:
• Free to attend, but please register online since space is limited.
