About the Instructor:
Meet Dr. Jack Jander — Founder of Vertical PT & Performance
I help athletes get out of pain and come back stronger than before.I earned my undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from University of Cincinnati, where I also played ice hockey for the Bearcats. That experience shaped how I see rehab — not as “treatment,” but as preparation for performance. Before physical therapy school, I became a Certified CrossFit Coach and spent several years coaching at CrossFit Veneration, developing a deep respect for strength, movement quality, and accountability inside the gym. I went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Mount Union, where I refined my expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and performance-based rehab. Today at Vertical PT & Performance, I blend evidence-based physical therapy, strength and conditioning principles, and real-world training experience to help athletes reduce pain, rebuild confidence, and return to sport at a higher level than before.
