Program Description:
Midlife Metabolism Reset: Muscle, Weight, and Insulin Resistance
Many people notice that in midlife, the rules seem to change: weight creeps up, energy dips, and blood sugar becomes harder to manage, even when habits haven’t changed much. This session explains what’s really happening under the surface, including age-related muscle loss, hormone shifts, sleep and stress effects, and how these factors can drive insulin resistance and stubborn weight gain. You’ll learn the most effective, realistic strategies to protect muscle, improve metabolic health, and feel stronger.
When:
• Monday, September 28, 2026 | 6:00 - 7:00pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Conference Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building
