Program Description:
It’s not breakfast, it’s not lunch—it’s an experience! After this class, our young chefs can treat their friends and family to a classic, leisurely weekend meal. Students will practice timing and execution as they prepare a full spread of sweet and savory brunch delicacies.
On the Menu: Fluffy, dramatic Dutch Baby German pancakes with fresh fruit toppings, made-to-order gourmet omelets, perfectly crisp oven-cooked bacon, and warm fried apples.

About the Instructor:
Julie Novel, Novel Learning Solutions: Instructor & Learning Consultant
Julie Novel is a dedicated learning and development consultant and a veteran K-12 educator with a passion for empowering the next generation. Throughout her distinguished career in education and corporate training, including roles with Pickerington Schools, Westerville Schools, and the Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County (C-TEC), Julie specialized
in designing engaging learning experiences that build practical life skills. She is also the proud mom of a high school senior.
Outside of her professional work, cooking has always been one of Julie’s greatest joys. From the time her son was small, she prioritized preparing healthy, delicious, and budget-friendly meals. Over the years, she has loved turning her kitchen into a classroom, teaching her son, her nephew, and their friends how to confidently plan and prepare their own nutritious snacks and
meals.
Julie is thrilled to share her lifelong love of cooking with her students. Her goal is to build every young chef's confidence, teaching them essential culinary skills they will carry into adulthood while sparking a lifelong joy for trying new foods.
