Heart-Saver CPR & AED Certification: Be the Lifeline!
Dive into the life-saving world of CPR and AED with our dynamic Heart-Saver certification class! Whether you're a concerned citizen, a parent, or a professional seeking essential skills, this interactive course equips you with the knowledge and confidence to respond in emergencies. Experience hands-on training with an expert instructor who will guide you through realistic scenarios, teaching you how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, as well as how to effectively use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
When:
• Saturday, January 23 | 9:00 am- 1:00 pm
Where:
• Philip Heit Center (150 W. Main St, New Albany, OH)
• Conference Room on the 1st Floor
• The parking lot and main entrance are located behind the building

About the Instructor:
Dr. Leticia N. Parris MBA BSN IHP, is a highly credentialed healthcare professional with expertise in nursing, healthcare practice, and integrated health. With a Doctor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Dr. Parris brings a unique combination of clinical knowledge and professional leadership to every course she teaches.
As a certified American Heart Association (AHA) instructor, Dr. Parris is passionate about empowering community members of all ages with the lifesaving skills they need to act confidently in emergencies. Her approachable teaching style and real-world experience make her classes both informative and engaging for participants at every level.

Special Instructions:
- Wear comfortable, casual clothing that allows you to kneel and move freely on the floor.
- Arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete any remaining registration paperwork.
- Participants under 12 must bring a signed parent/guardian waiver (available at registration).
- Please inform the instructor of any physical limitations or health conditions prior to class.
- A valid photo ID or completed registration confirmation is required for check-in.
